Professor Melih Bozkurt, Doctor of Medical Sciences, is the head of the neurosurgery department at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. He has over 23 years of experience.
Education and Clinical Practice
Professor Melih Bozkurt received his medical degree from Ankara University’s medical faculty in 2001. From 2001 to 2006, he specialized in neurosurgery at Ankara University and began his professional career at the medical faculty of the same university.
From 2011 to 2012, Bozkurt worked as a neurosurgeon at the University of Wisconsin (Madison, USA), where he gained experience in treating cerebrovascular diseases and skull base surgeries.
Dr. Bozkurt is actively involved in scientific research, with a list of over 70 scientific publications, and constantly implements new methods for treating brain tumors into practice.
Since 2016, the professor has been a member of the Qualification Council of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
